Our cutting-edge systems combine performance and silence, redefining computing for challenging acoustic environments like living rooms, offices, and labs. We are looking for a Director of Operations to take the lead in optimizing our production processes, managing resources effectively, and driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities
As the Director of Operations, you’ll play a critical role in the success of STEIGER DYNAMICS by managing our operational backbone. Your responsibilities include:
Purchasing and Inventory Management
- Take ownership of all purchasing activities, from negotiating contracts with key suppliers to managing day-to-day inventory purchases.
- Monitor inventory levels and procure components and materials as needed to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Optimize and maintain inventory tracking systems to improve accuracy, reduce waste, and enhance accountability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
Production Oversight
- Directly oversee the production team, holding them accountable for meeting performance metrics, quality standards, and deadlines.
- Evaluate and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce error rates, and boost output quality.
- Set clear goals for the production team and provide guidance to ensure alignment with company objectives.
Process Optimization
- Analyze current operational processes to identify areas for improvement and implement actionable solutions.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for purchasing, inventory, and production workflows to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement across operations.
Leadership
- Foster a results-oriented culture within the production team and operations staff.
- Act as the primary decision-maker for day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Report directly to the CEO on operations performance, including purchasing efficiency, inventory health, and production metrics.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in operations management with a focus on purchasing, inventory, and production oversight.
- Purchasing Expertise: Proven track record in negotiating supplier contracts and handling daily purchasing responsibilities.
- Leadership Skills: Experience managing and holding production teams accountable for performance and quality.
- Organizational Strength: Exceptional ability to manage inventory and operational processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Analytical Mindset: Adept at evaluating operational data and identifying actionable improvements.
- Tools Proficiency: Hands-on experience with inventory management.
